SurroundedByGrass was opened sometime in 2009, I can’t exactly remember when, but it was after June.
It took me awhile to come up with the name. Originally this site was just going to be a blog about my farming career. But I like to changed my mind and it turned into a full fledged personal blog. I toyed with names like “Farm girl” but that was a little… to “girly” for me. So I looked outside for inspiration, and all I saw was grass. I was quiet litterly Surrounded by grass.
I purchesed the domain from GoDaddy and was first hosted on my own reseller plan over at AshPink. Their servers bombed (she ran out of money or some shit, not very good imo) so I changed to HoldFire. I highly recomend them. They are very helpful and cheap.

I have a reseller account with HoldFire and I’m willing to give hosting to a few people for free (Unless you don’t really know me, then it’ll be a small price) I have a reseller plan with them because I planned on opening other blogs and things.
