I have random periods when I don't want to see anyone but my closest friends and then I have these episodes when I want to talk to everyone, probably even a dog with a hat on. I think it's very normal to go through these phases. Also, if you don't have a lot of time on your hands, you don't always want to spend it with people you hardly speak to. Anti-socialness is quite usual in my universe. You don't have much time off and you have to sacrifice a lot to go visit them. It's natural to be a little less than thrilled about wanting to go. Your job sounds really tough, too. I can't imagine working 11 days straight on a farm. I'd die. If they won't let you have this, you really might want to consider sticking up for yourself. Your boss is taking advantage of you. If your contract says you get overtime if you work after 6 - then you should get overtime, no questions asked. You shouldn't have to say anything. I really don't enjoy being around people when they're drunk :P I tihnk you have very valid reasons for not wanting to go; in that situation I wouldn't want to go either!
